Castilleja School is seeking approval from the City of Palo Alto to expand their facilities to accommodate up to 30 percent more students with new buildings, new traffic patterns and underground parking. Castilleja’s current conditional-use permit from the City caps enrollment at 415 students.
Concerned about past violations of its enrollment cap, (and current non-compliance), as well as increasing neighborhood impacts from the proposed expansion, a neighborhood group, Protect Neighborhood Quality of Life Now, has launched a city-wide campaign opposing the expansion and asking for enforcement of the 415 student enrollment cap.
