City Boards and Commissions

One of the most impactful ways to get involved in City decision-making is participation in one of the City’s many Boards, Commissions and issue specific citizen committees. These groups are comprised primarily of Palo Alto residents, many of whom bring subject-matter expertise and/or broad community connections to the table. They advise the City Council on policy issues and work closely with City staff, serving as a bridge between the community and City decision-makers.
